Extended Care

Our child care center was founded in 1984, and includes care for children ages two through five.  Our facility is licensed by the Department of Children and Families, and is inspected throughout the year.

The purpose of Christian Heritage Academy is to provide the best possible care for each child in a clean, safe, attractive environment.  The environment is set up for learning through the "learning center" approach, always keeping in mind the child's age and stage, maturity, size, needs, and capabilities.  This environment also provides the freedom of choice of developmentally appropriate activities which develop the preschool skills and interest through play.

Full Day Pre-school/Child Care Fee Schedule

$110.00 a week (2 year olds)

$100.00 a week (3's)

$70 VPK wrap around fee

 

Annual Registration Fee

 

An annual fee of $60.00 is due July 1. Enrollment fees are prorated as follows:

July 1 thru October 31: $60.00

November 1 thru January 31: $45.00

February 1 thru April 30: $30.00

May 1 thru June 30: $15.00

This fee is non-refundable and is due each year on July 1.

 

Annual Curriculum Fee

An annual fee of $45.00 will also be assessed on July 1  to offset the cost of preschool curriculum and all supplies.  This can also be prorated as follows:

July 1 thru October 31: $45.00

November 1 thru January 31: $30.00

February 1 thru April 30: $20.00

May 1 thru July 31: $10.00

 

 

CHILD CARE FINANCIAL INFORMATION AND REQUIREMENTS

 

1. Child care tuition is due in advance on Friday for the upcoming week.

LATE FEES: If payment has not been received by Monday morning of the week in which it is due, a late charge of $25.00 is automatically placed on your account. If you have not paid for the current week by Monday, your child may not return on Tuesday or until the account is current.

2. Checks are to be brought to the office and put in the locked box or handed to the secretary. Please do not give payments to your child or the teacher. Cash payments should be made in the office during office hours (8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.).  Receipts will be provided if requested.

3. A $30.00 charge is made for any returned checks. Please pay this penalty in cash.

4. Christian Heritage Academy child care hours are 6:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. We discourage leaving children after 6:00 p.m. However, when emergencies require this, you will be charged a rate of $5 at 6:05 p.m., $10 at 6:10 p.m., and $15 at 6:15 p.m.  At6:15 p.m. the rate changes to $2.00 per minute. This charge will be added to the following week's tuition.

5. Rates during illness: full tuition is charged for the first two days of illness. Then one half of the fee is charged for those days of illness thereafter until returning. Please be sure to fill out a illness credit form to receive reduced billing.  You may get forms at the front desk in the school office. [Example for a 2 year old child absent for 5 days: ($21.00 x 2) + ($10.50 x 3) = $73.50 due. For a three or four year old: ($19.00 x 2) + ($9.50 x 3) = $66.50]

6. We will be closed on the following holidays: Thanksgiving Day, the day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Day, Good Friday, Memorial Day, Independence Day, and Labor Day. There is no discount for holidays; you must pay the full week's tuition.

7. Vacation: After being enrolled for one full year, each child is allowed 5 free days of vacation annually. Please notify the bookkeeper by completing the vacation credit form in advance of vacation days, so we can keep accurate records and adjust your bill accordingly. Any more than 5 days will be charged at the regular rate.

 

There is a $5.00 discount for the 2nd and 3rd child for families with more than one enrolled in Christian Heritage Academy.
