"THE VOICE" School Newspaper Club
Weekly after school all middle school students are invited to meet in Ms. Link's class for journalism. These students are completely responsible for putting together our middle school newspaper. The paper is published four times a year. Students sign up to work on areas that interest them. Some examples are photography, lay out, personal interviews with staff for fellow students, politics, sports, special events, ministry and evangelization, and book, music and movie reviews. We are always open to new ideas which is evident by reading our paper. All articles are edited. These students work as a team. We celebrate each publication with a dinner for the "newpaper staff", which is provided by the school. This year our journalism students spent a day at the Florida Times Union, with a senior editor. Community Service Club
Our service is to our global community "God's World". As a chapter of the national Presidential Community service Organization of America, we uphold their standards while focusing on serving as young Christian men and women. This club meets each week. We work hard as we develop a sense of doing for others.
